19 Mar 2020 — Scientific Workshop 2020[ + ]
Cancellation Notice
Since our website communications of 6th March 2020, the situation of COVID-19 has been rapidly evolving. The number of infections has increased substantially in numerous countries worldwide, leading to further international restrictions regarding the hosting of events and congresses by governments and health authorities. The situation in the UK is changing on a daily basis, with a number of medical conferences including that of the Royal College of Physicians being postponed. A number of our sponsors, presenters and members are now unable to attend due to corporate/organisations decisions out with their control.
The executive of the UKMF have therefore reluctantly made the decision to postpone the Scientific Workshop planned for the 19th March at the Cavendish Conference Centre in London. The meeting is now provisionally planned to be held on 11th November 2020 at the same venue, please do save the date.
In order to minimize inconvenience we will arrange refunds for any registration payments already made. These will be organised through Collaborative Conferences. The conferences team should be contacting you directly over the coming days but if there are any questions please contact Alex@collaborativeconferences.co.uk.
We would like to thank our members, speakers, the conference venue and suppliers for their cooperation and understanding during this time. Despite this difficult situation, we do very much appreciate your support and are working hard to ensure the 11th November meeting is a great success.
On behalf of the UKMF Exec.
