ASH San Diego - 5 grants £1500 each

Every year the UKMF provides between 3-6 Travel Bursaries to attend key myeloma and haematology meetings. These include the International Myeloma Workshop (IMW) and the American Society of Haematology (ASH).
May 2012 Ð IMW (venue tbc)
Dec 2012 Ð ASH
The Bursaries are of sufficient value to cover meeting registration, travel and basic accommodation. Applications are open to all medical and scientific staff working in the field of Myeloma in the UK. This includes doctors in training, consultants, scientists, and myeloma nurse specialists.
Applications are competitive and will take the form of either an abstract submitted to the meeting or an essay on a given subject decided by the UKMF exec. A call for applications will be made on this website and via e-mail to all UKMF members approximately 4 months before the meeting date and specific details of the process will be given.
Travel bursary applicants must be members of the UKMF. All successful candidates will be expected to present either their abstract or a short overview of key points from the meeting at the next UKMF Scientific Day or Educational Day following the meeting.
